Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Test of time' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Test of time' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Yeah,
that
one looks pretty bad, but as a concept it's a lot better than a slantnose on a 911. Love to see one really well done, with an appropriate bumper.
I like aspects of it, (agree with gaps in fender/hood/bumper) but the rear wing seems to be at too steep of an angle, plus who in the hell would put a GT2 wing on their car
Hey Ed, I love the old 935's so I kinda dig it.
Think Le Mans circa 1976.
Sombody needs to photochop it from silver to white, with a bigger air dam, much bigger wing, and Martini graphics.
There's an old movie where the hero is driving a van through some European town. It's "too quiet", and suddenly he's ambushed by a pack of black 930s with a slant nose in the lead (Oh no!)! So he ejects his supercar from underneath the van and leads them a merry chase.
I have no idea what the movie is, if anyone does please feel free to speak up. I think it was my first time seeing Porsches, and the slant nose was just so damn
evil
.
most 930 slants didn't come that way from the factory (I loved them as a kid), and I've seen some pretty shoddy fiberglass up close, but I still love them. factory "flatnose" was a LOT of money.
I feel like the 996 is already kinda slanted, and I'm sure the chrome car above would have looked a lot better if it wasn't chrome!
not really liking the execution because of all the abrupt seams and somewhat busyness. but i do like the concept if someone can get it right. wonder what the 996 headlight haters think... take that back. who cares what they think!
The pop headlights were quite the rage during their time but now look like period pieces. All major manufacturers had models with them(BMW 8, Ferrari, Lotus, NSX, Corvette etc).
Maybe they will make a comeback...

I love the old slant nose look. But that one you posted looks like ****. It looks like a kid did it in his back yard. The fit is horrible. Keep working on it.. I guess it what i would have to say to them at this point.
I remember when the slants were popular when I was in HS or soon after (83 or college late 80ish) and thinking they were the bomb as pictured above in the posts. That was when "angular" was in--Ferarri 308GTS's, etc. They just don't age that well do they? Curves stand the test of time.
The only thing this new one accomplishes is gets rid of our ridiculous 996 salvador dali headlights.
You know, I think it's great!... as a target for my MK19 grenade machine gun... (Yes, it's a machine gun that launches 40mm grenades... how cool is that?) Drop some HEDP (high explosive dual purpose) on that and it would do a great job of evening out all the ugly gaps... They'd all be about 20m apart!
