Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

21 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

$1k then -$100 per wheel for major scuff/curb rash

POST 9Original post

I have the same on my car. At least the same look. I don't think mine have much marking on them so I can't be sure they are the same, but they sure look similar. they are like these but in aluminum color http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/pts/2041760835.html

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They do looks similar but the ones for sale have this strange cut out for the valve stem. I saw pictures of real champion RB4's which also have this cutout but I cant find any info on RB4's are they seem like an old discontinued model.

POST 11Original post

I can't imagine that Champion has their wheels made in Japan. I would call them. That is the ONLY way you are going to find out. THe last thing you want to do is sell a set of replicas that turn out to be genuine. Or....worse yet, misrepresent a set a wheels as Champion that are not.

POST 13Original post

Interesting. I don't know why I thought they were a US wheel.

on the Lip on teh back side of the wheel... it will say Champion MS, Made in Japan, Size and Load rating and Serial Numbers...

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

saw othing like that but they were dirty...did notice an RY on some and RZ on others on the inside of the spokes.

POST 19Original post

Quotes source post: 8123453

not sure, i have had my Champion RG19's Refinished about 3 times Stipped sanded and painted... so most of my markings are gone...

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

looking from the back of the wheel, the hub had a lip and the center spoke section was screwed to that with those little screwed with each screw having a square nut in back. Looked real to me but im no expert 2 of the wheels where in rather bad shape with the chrome on the lip slaking off from an old curb rash that started to rust. Im not sure I even want to deal with these a this point. 2 of the pzerros look brand new, the sizes are 245 and 275 which seem to also be the wrong size for a 996?
