Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have been trying to figure out if there is an after-market hands-free kit in my 2004 996 cab. It has the factory Nav and Bose. Here are two pictures, sorry they rotated....... One is a microphone, and one ia an antenna. Does this look familiar to anybody? If so, is there a pointer to directions on how to use it? Thanks in advanc Bill VerSteeg

POST 2Original post

I would guess its aftermarket, but dont know for sure... the colors in your pics are cool!! is that a golf cart??

POST 3Original post

Looks like you have or had an aftermarket kit in your car. I've got a Motorola kit in mine, but there is a little control unit on the "batwing" on the center console. You'll need to find the control unit, if it's still there. Have you tried setting your bluetooth mobile phone to discovery mode in the car and seeing what happens? Maybe it will find it...

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yup - golf cart. Actually, it is a road-legal electric car based on a golf cart. Headlights, mirrors, seat belts, etc. There was a pretty good tax incentive last year, so I picked one up. I tried to discover devices from my Iphone while in the car. No glory. The colors a just a weird combination of the window tint, the flashlight, and the garage colors. bvs
