Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Oh yah, check the linkage for being loose and where the input into the casing is for abnormal wear.

I've noticed something about my clutch...If i stall the car (yes sometimes i do when not paying attention) right after the clutch will go in so easily, almost feels like minimal resistance..i just push it and its so light...also sometimes after getting on it a bit, it does that...it just becomes so easy to push in, i almost feel i can shift the car without pushing the clutch in, and did actually do that..literally i just shifted from 2nd to 3rd with no clutch...The car only has 40k on it and its already had a new clutch put in when its engine was replaced around 15k by porsche!

Not sure if the clutch is using a slave and master arrangement.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Just wondering why the cars clutch feels so light after i've stalled it on accident then goes back to normal after a few hours

The car drives normal nothing messed up but i'm just wondering why the clutch gets so light after i stall it or sometimes after getting on it a bit..after a little while i can feel it being normal again as if it built pressure again
I haven't done it in my 996 but i have in many other cars. That's just a matter of rev matching. There will be a certain speed at which you can shift without a clutch.
Clutchless shifting is easy on synchro transmissions. Going up in gears is the most fool proof. On newer bikes it real easy since the transmissions are full synchro gearing. Upshifting, when letting off the gas
abruptly
do a full or good sized drop in accelerator input and immediately go for the next higher gear then get back on the throttle when its in gear. Preloading the shifter for coming out of gear and into the next helps keep you fast on the gear changing. I don’t advise it since it takes confidence, no errors, no wondering moments which gives the synchro’s and gear range match time to be off leaving you with load money crunching noises.
Maybe the throw out bearing is binding from the vibration.
Or if you are talking about even when running it is easier then maybe the slave and or master cylinder needs rebuilding. Not sure if the clutch is using a slave and master arrangement. But whatever hydrolics might not be doing a full return.
I can say for certain its a porsche thing
Oh yah, check the linkage for being loose and where the input into the casing is for abnormal wear.
What I'm thinking is loose linkage could be binding once in a while.
