Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

35 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

OK DallasBoats it's time to "come out" Satruday, 8:30am at the Starbucks Preston Rd. and Frankfort. We have about 7 guys so far. Come see Patrick's new to him RUF 993!

POST 3Original post

Quotes source post: 5570313

Damn! You beat me to it!

POST 4Original post

Quotes source post: 5570346

muhuhaha It was too easy I would love to see everyones 996, then Tims car in a pic! I could see some potential photoshop action in the future!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

He is going to. Here is his quote: I can make it. Where?... the Starbucks near your house? I'll park my Accord around the back so I don't embarrass you guys. When we are getting ready to leave, I'll just hang aroung the parking lot so I can smell the Porsche exhaust fumes. That will give me my P-car fix for the week. LOL

POST 8Original post

You guys are really COLD!!! Yeah, I am going to be there! I figure to show up at a P-car meet in an Accord, you either 1) have big *****, or 2) have become so degraded from driving the Honda that you have lost all self-respect and you don't care what anyone thinks. I'll let you guys decide which one fits me. Jeeze, I can't believe I set myself up like that!

POST 9Original post

Quotes source post: 5572028

oh! oh! Oh! I know this one! I vote for option #2!

POST 10Original post

Quotes source post: 5572094

Gee, thanks! It least I know you guys "have my back!"

POST 11Original post

Quotes source post: 5572149

Always - we still love you, even though your only Porsche is the diecast on on your desk.... oh boy, that was cold, even for me.

POST 13Original post

Quotes source post: 5572383

Well, we still haven't seen any photos yet... gotta have a photo from the photo ****. BTW, did you post your farewell photo of the p-car?

POST 14Original post

Quotes source post: 5572408

The camera is in NC. Besides, the Accord is not worth the time or effort of taking a pic.

POST 15Original post

Just saw this........ I'm supposed to be at Texoma tomorrow. Actually, I have a hotel room there starting this Thursday, but was too lazy to make the drive. Also, I get up around 10 to 11, I can't remember the last time I woke before 9 am......... I'd enjoy meeting you guys sometime, maybe a fudruckers for late lunch? Personally, I enjoy the after hours bars, where women are paid to be nice, kind of place...... he he. It's quite common to see one of my cars at those places around Dallas...... Most people that know of me, know this.... I'm seedy.

POST 16Original post

Great see everyone today. Here are some pics.

POST 18Original post

Patrick, it was nice to meet you this morning. Your RUF Turbo R is an AWESOME car. Thanks for sharing the pics. BTW - is that white car on the end a pre-production 998?

POST 19Original post

Quotes source post: 5576001

I couldn't see much of the engine in that white 998.5. Must be bad lighting in those pics. Looks like a really big engine bay as well -td

POST 20Original post

Quotes source post: 5576596

Engine, we don't need no stinkin' engines - we need space to store the nuts for the squirrels.

POST 21Original post

Quotes source post: 5576596

The engine bay on the 998.5 HAS to be larger than the 996 or 997, so the 4.2 liter flat-8 will fit in there.

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well guys, One more pic from the Saturday meet. We really did try to get Tim to come over to our side of the parking lot and socialize but he just sat there leaning on his Honda...mumbling something like "I can't even drift this POS" sad

POST 23Original post

Quotes source post: 5580025

Cute! I'll bet he could drift it if he tried.

POST 24Original post

Quotes source post: 5580386

No I couldn't...... not even on ice! Even if it had enough HP to drift (which it doesn't) how the hell do your drift a front wheel drive car? I guess you could drive backwards.

POST 25Original post

Quotes source post: 5580025

Awe crap Steve, I was hoping that your camera batteries had run out of juice before you got that pic!

POST 26Original post

Quotes source post: 5582050

Sure you can, it's called understeer. My Acura is a pain for it... put it out in wet or snowy weather and the traction goes to hell in a handbasket.... just think of it as drifting the front of the car and not the rear.

POST 27Original post

Quotes source post: 5582077

Wayne thanks, I feel MUCH better now!

POST 28Original post

Quotes source post: 5582087

My pleasure. Actually, I don't know if it's the car, or the tires. I'm guessing it's the crappy OEM michelins. Every Acura owner I've talked to about this has the same complaint. I've a feeling that when I eventually get tired of the crappy traction and change the tires that the problem will go away. I've never driven a car so prone to wheel spinning than an Acura.

Nope I guessing he's not our type But I may be wrong like I was once before

POST 32Original post

I was at Lake Texoma, sorry. You guys get up too early anyways....... How about a lunch date at the adult bar???? Baby Dolls and the Mens club are right off loop 12 and 35. I also like the Pappasittos there, but then again, it can't always be about me....... or so i'm told. Cheers, sorry I missed out. In my defense, looks like a bunch of older "not real 911's" anyways.....

Steven, I think the ball is in your court!

POST 34Original post

Ouch! Boats is in da house. Older men with older cars... next he'll be commenting on your gold chains.

POST 35Original post

OMG, I forgot about this thread and I saw Tim's Honda with the trunk open.....that is classic!!!!!!!!!!!! Tim, you know you are still in the "brotherhood" with a pic like that I love it
