Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My suspension clicking/sqeaking has been professionally diagnosed as a cracked strut mount bushing. Parts and Labor run about $500-$550 for both sides. I found the parts I need online. Is this possibly a DIY job, or should I leave it to the pros? I am somewhat mechanically inclined, with friends that also have some experience. Not sure if any special tools are required though.

POST 2Original post

If you're referring to the 3-stud mount under your trunk (covered by the cowl cover), these can be purchased for around $51.00 each (through Suncoast Porsche). If you do a search on suspension replacement, you will be good to go. I just replaced the stock suspension w/ ROW M030 and broke (1)-stud on that mount. It was a piece of cake! Easy, easy, easy.
