I originally posted on this board about buying a 00-03 996. I even considered a C4S, but after driving a 996 C2 and 996 C4S, I preferred the C2. Anyways, in the end I decided to get a new 911 after I spent some time in one. Here are some pictures I took of it last weekend in Palo Alto. The car has paint protection film applied on the front bumper, 1/3 of the hood, headlights, foglights, and side mirrors. Premier Mobile Group (from the sticky) did the install.
The 997 is Atlas Grey Metallic with Stone Grey Interior.

Looks like you got a good install on the clear film; I'm sure you'll be glad you have it. Mine makes me much less nervous when I get stuck in closely packed traffic on the highway.

Eric, yes I do plan on upgrading the suspension. I'm not happy about the gap. I already photoshopped the car with a slightly lower ride height.
BTW - I am using a Canon 20D digital SLR camera.
Congrats on the purchase. Did you buy it from Carlsen? Care to share how much discount you got? What made you decided on 997 over 996?
