Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

21 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 16Original post

I think eBay's longterm health will be threatened unless they figure out a way to reduce this type of fraud. It's WAY too common.

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

he was not from overseas. He was from blacksburg, VA. Police have his name, address and phone number now and are supose to contact him. I had been emailing him under a different email address. Told him I was interested and was a cash buyer. He sent me an escrow agreement and asked me to make a deposit in www.escrow.com and that we could arrange a time and place to meet. let's just say, I didn't know anything and made a deposit. How would he ever get that money. Buyer is given a certain amount of time to inspect the vehicle. He obviously doesn't have it, so how does this scam work? Am i missing something??

POST 19Original post

Maybe he has the exact same car as you have...and was to lazy to take pictures, write a list of options, etc etc......let us know how this ends...if you ever hear anything about it again!

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

He has teh same car alright. Even the same VIN number. This guy is a scam artists. He just registered with ebay and has no feedback. That's usually a red flag

POST 21Original post

maybe Porsche made a mistake and made 2 911's with the same VIN, color, and spec's .......okay okay the guy is an idiot and a scam artist!!!
