Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yesterday, I put my car in the garage after my commute home (18 miles in dense freeway traffice, so nothing too 'sporty'). I had the air conditioning on during the drive. After I changed out of my work clothes, I went back into the garage to give my windshield a wipedown. I noticed a small (1 sq foot) liquid stain under the car, behind the right front wheel. It's not oil and it does not appear to be coloured. It also does not have any discernable smell (i.e. it's not gasoline). Any idea what this could be? Condensation? Brake fluid? Coolant?

POST 2Original post

AC Condensation most likely - coolant would smell sweet, brake fluid would have a distinct smell, color, and feel oily to the touch - nothing else up that end of the car. Good suggestion is to run your in-car air fans without AC for the last few miles - this allows the AC to get rid of any condensation before you stop AND stops that condesation causing stale odours in your AC unit when you next use it. Chris.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Chris. That's reassuring (and good info).

POST 4Original post

Mine does the same thing after using the A/C. No need to worry.
