Is it ok to use Castrol Synthetic 75W-90? I believe it is also the same rating (GP5) as the shell as well as the same 75W-90.

Be careful with the gear lube you use as the LSD and syncro's share the same fluid. Why not just get the Shell from the dealer. $90 for 3 liters.

OEM is guarenteed to work. I don't see why castrol syntec gear oil of the same grade rating and diff rating wouldn't work, but the choice is urs. i'll prolly just get the shell transaxel from the dealer. 150$ vs like 2grand or whatever a new diff costs...mite as well play it safe.
