Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Vove's car blew a tire this morning and its parked at my house, can someone check their manual to see if you can run the spare in the rear? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

I dont see why not. Give me a sec and I will run down to the car.............

POST 4Original post

It is ok. Is is a C2? If so, then it is fine as long as there are no spacers (5mm spacers ok). If the 17mm spacers are installed they need to be removed. The spare needs to be 60 psi. Hope that helps.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the quick reply guys.

POST 7Original post

NEVER drive with that spare on the rear. Or the front. What are you crazy? It looks ridiculous! And they make it bright red so everyone notices it. ARGHHHHH! Kidding. Just kidding. I've had to do it a couple times (damn roads in Manhattan) and besides my comments above that it looks RIDICULOUS, it won't harm your car at all, and besides, it still looks less ridiculous then you standing out in the cold with a flat tire and NO spare.

POST 8Original post

I know, thats what was going through my head when limp the car home last night. Since my tire blew on the rear right, I just drove on the far right lane so you can't see the spare unless you were behind me . I was also thinking how fast can I drive with this spare on, anything after 70mph. with the spare the car feels unstable.
