Cargraphic has a similar wheel; but you'd have to remove or inspect closely behind it and weigh it.

It is dark burl and the only replacement I can find is a door set for $1100.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am getting back to Porsche for a weekend car. I am looking at an 04 turbo in Chandler AZ, near the airport. Here is the link.

. Does anyone know the car? I am also tring to ID the 19" wheels. Here is a photo. any ideas?
I love to color combo. There are two problems I see. One is the car was registered in a flood area years ago. I think any problem would have shown up by now or be on Carfax. The other is the cover for the driver door pocket is cracked and needs to be replaced. It is dark burl and the only replacement I can find is a door set for $1100. Any ideas? I would even consider it in leather but the color is hard to find. Otherwise a couple nicks on the bumper cover are the only issues I see. The missing CD changer and windscreen are not issues.
If anyone is in the area, I would love them to take a look and advise before I do a PPI. any ideas of a shop for the PPI.
Any comments are welcome.
Thanks
Cargraphic has a similar wheel; but you'd have to remove or inspect closely behind it and weigh it. If its chrome-plated, pry a cheap knock-off, or it could be a high polished ... It would be better if you could get the dealer to install OEM wheels.
As for the car, it would be ideal to get a Rennfax from a member near that car. From the pics most can tell the driver side exhaust tip is not aligned properly , the driver side back window switch on the center console is not installed properly.. And whoever detailed the car, forgot to wipe down (water stains?) on the gauge lenses...
the driver door armrest/pocket cover is damaged obviously, so as nice as the dark burl is with Natural Leather, either find a proper replacement, or consider getting it repaired, then paint the accessories on BOTH doors the same color as the exterior, OR get just the armrests recovered in Natural Leather .....
Can the dealer provide a Carfax? It may be clean, but as you mentioned the flood area, this car would need a thorough independent inspection.
Just saw the FREE CARFAX on the site: the car was registered in LA in 2005, specifically during Hurricane Katrina, so definitely look into this...if it was on high ground and in a shelter, maybe .... Otherwise ......
04 X-50 Cab, 29K miles, no stories, AND PROOF that ALL fluids/filters have been serviced, all manuals, BOTH keys , yea pry a $50K car. The Tiptronic... I'd negotiate for a lower price....
Have you talked to the dealer? They should fix that armrest.
For me, a $50k car would need to be damned perfect.
A good PPI will answer any flood questions. The last owner put some miles on it so probably not a concern.
Tiptronic and Turbo. A bit over tech for my liking. Just more potential things to go wrong. Not my idea of spending $52000.. Same amount of money spent on a 6 speed manual with no turbo would bring in a real nice car. Thats OIMHO.. Not really my 'cup of tea' so to speak...
