Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
I think you will be wasting valuable money and time if just replace the springs.
Leading evidence: 'Replace springs' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Also if they run into any other problems along the way, so 6-7 hours is usually a good estimate.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am thinking of purchasing the H&R SPORT LOWERING SPRINGS, i was wondering how many hours of labour will my mechanic take to put them on the 4 wheels? I am thinking it would be 2 hours but read somewhere that it takes way more work like 6-7 hours. What is your time or cost if you changed them?
It usually takes around an hour and half per spring but all depends on who you take it too of course. Also if they run into any other problems along the way, so 6-7 hours is usually a good estimate. What model of 996 do you have ?
swapping is easy - its the rebuilding of the struts that takes all the time - fronts 30-40 R&R - rear 15-20 R&R
swapping spring takes about 1/2 hour a piece (or longer if the beer is flowing)
What is the concept of rebuilding struts? never hear of it. This is getting more expensive that I would like. I thought it was just a simple trading of springs.
its a full day job with alignment... its about 8 hours with Street Alignement. Fronts are easy, its the Rears that take more time because you need to crawl in the back seat, unless you are a Hobbit its not easy to move around in the back lols
I think cab is even harder because top of the rear shocks is not easy to get to.
I mean taking apart the strut assy - removing the spring and re-assembling it
takes some time - and as stated you end up with shocks not valved for the springs, and maybe tired - replacing the struts is a good idea and getting the correct strut for the spring an even better idea
