I bought an 04 C4S last May, and have been using it as my daily driver ... and loving it. I recently had the "rattle in the passenger door" issue that seems to be well documented in this forum, fixed. Since my baby was returned, I have been unable to lock the car doors from the outside. If I insert the key and lock the car, I hear the door lock, ~1 second later, it unlocks, and then the horn honks twice. Same thing if I use the remote to try to lock the door. From the inside, I can lock the car from the main lock mechanism on the dash. When I lock from the dash, you cant open the drivers door from the outside. Interestingly, from the outside, when you pull the passenger door handle, the window auto drops ... something fishy here. The dome lights are working properly. Ideas welcome!! I dont want somebody walking away with my car. If you live in Atlanta, and you see a seal gray C4S, dont follow me, I will notice you.

Update ... After taking off the door and lock tit'ng the 3 loose nuts on window motor, all of the rattling disappeared. However, a more irritating issues cropped up with the doors not locking. Took the car back to the mechanic and he did not find anything interesting scanning for alarm codes. Took the door panel off and checked the lock mechanism and plug connectors. After starting reassembly, everything started working. Not sure what the problem was
