Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I remember how pissed I was when someone just emptied their coke glass out the window in front of me (and my clean car).

rather see a plain looking morgue shot of the guy - I dont want to spend our money feeding and housing these people any more....the laws get tougher and tougher and all we end up doing is filling jails up with people so they can be supported by the tax payers......there doesnt seem to be a lot of fear in criminals minds.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Here's my story...
Bumper to bumper traffic, going at about 20mph... dark, at around 7pm.
I hear a pop in my driver's rear. I thought it may have been just a small rock. I ignored it.
I hear a second one. No biggie, not as loud as the other one.
When I get home, I see three blowgun darts stuck to my rear bumper. They look like the pic below. They obviously punctured the bumper. There were three of them. They put small holes in the bumper and a small crack in the paint in two of them.
If I knew who did it, I'd do a lot more than venting on this forum...Gotta love lowlife people.
its amazing. I get so pissed at stupidity!
dude sorry to hear.. I know it can be fixed but what a PITA for no reason other than someone getting a laugh that they f'd up a Porsche ...
find them and we;ll have an old fashioned STONING!
agreed - contact the authorites and do not touch the evidence with your hands- use gloves as they can use that. I also think it is a danger and can lead to an accident and loss of lives...
Yeah, a bumper repaint is necessary. The holes made the material bulge where they poked through. It's just the thought that we can not just simply enjoy our cars on the freeway, even during traffic, without some dumbf.ck messing with your car.
To be honest, I have no confidence in the CHP, especially with this matter where no injuries occurred.
Heck, they can't even enforce the cell phone law... and you expect them to investigate three small blowdarts that ruined some guy's Porsche bumper?
Man I hate that..... Its all over, Not just Cali. I had some one spit chew all over my 928 last year from a dump truck. Then he smiles at me as I passed him. Another popular one around here is if you are following a loaded dump for them to slam the hooks to try to jar crap off the top of the load.
It's crazy what people will do...
With that I hope the person that did it is not an adult. At least as a teen you're somewhat brain dead (as I'm sure we all did really stupid things especially in the company of friends). If it is an adult I'm sure you'll see them on the local news one day with a sad looking mug shot.

There should be.
wait this went political and its not about that... its about a guys whos car got F'd on the freeway by low lifes!
Aimless vandalism is crap, sorry about your incident. Remember the American ex-pat kid who got sentenced and lashed in Singapore for vandalizing a car, I think it was in the early 1990's or so....
Been doing some more research on this crap and blowdart guns are illegal to own in CA and MA, it seems. There's a ton of online stores that sell this crap. They even have CO2 cartridges to launch the darts!
Apparently, in DE, they had issues where bicyclists were hit by blowdarts!

These idiots need a good f'in beating -- minors or adults.
Somebody else will probably be more attentive and spot whats going on. So trying to get CHP involved might help. In the future they might advance to firearms with the same disreguard for others. Then at least you can return fire in iturn. Good luck with goofy people of california.
Well, assuming that this car was going all the way eastbound, yes. But all cars were coming from the west.
There's a fall-off in IQ, literacy, and geneology heading east.
PAC996, I don't have much faith in the CHP.
I drove my car again today, sort of like bait.
Sorry to hear. Might be worth reporting for the sake of getting it on record?
You get idiots everywhere. Round here every couple of years you get kids throwing rocks off of freeway overpasses! not small rocks btw or small kids for that matter
I remember a few years ago one poor guy got hit through the windscreen center of his chest, unfortunately didn't survive. Worst I've had is an egg destroy the paintwork on my front bonnet.
Cleaned the bumper today. The three spots now look like pimples on the smooth rear bumper.
Two of them have paint cracks. In the long run, those will chip for sure.
Repaint time, I guess.
Sorry about your ride! I freak in parking lots and possible door dings, etc. I def. would be on a rampage if it were me. Seriously though, is this some new "trend"? And don't you need to file a police report if you claim on your insurance?
used to live in LA, lots of morons on fwy and streets too.
now i drive a very LARGE car, heehee.
short of a semi, i can squeeze just about anything onto the curb or median
Sorry, that sucks. I remember how pissed I was when someone just emptied their coke glass out the window in front of me (and my clean car). This is just crazy.
Nobody is claiming on insurance. Paint job for the bumper will probably be around $500 to $800. Not worth going through insurance.
I reported it to Rennlist.
I'm not being a good citizen by not reporting it to the CHP but again, I don't have faith in the CHP to begin with.
That sucks. Sorry man.

Lance: They should be f*ing killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution.
Vincent: Boy, I wish I could've caught him doing it. I'd have given anything to catch that a*hole doing it. It'd been worth him doing it just so I could've caught him doing it.
Lance: What a f*er!
Vincent: What's more chicken**** than f*ing with a man's automobile? I mean, don't f*k with another man's vehicle.
Lance: You don't do it.
Vincent: It's just against the rules.

I wonder if any of the surrounding cars saw it and phoned it in. Cops might not have been able to respond, but someone may have gotten a license plate.
I've never been that far inland but man the times are a changing if this happened to you, so sorry to hear. Admittedly my life in LA may be somewhat sheltered, but I don't think there's another major city with as much respect for cars and car culture in the US. NY is complete crap by comparison, every time someone parks here they hit the cars in front of and behind them, holes in the bumpers are so common ($500 - 800 is a good guess). Give it to the valet to keep it off the street, and he'll ding your doors, rash your wheels and in my case inexplicably break your window.
FYI, SoCal peeps... if you haven't seen the news... 118 and 210 freeway intersection, there has been people throwing large rocks off the freeway overpasses to lower level freeways. Watch out.
