Saw this car last week at Leith Porsche in Cary, NC. They just posted it on their site, but no picture yet. 24k miles in Guards Red. http://leith.porschedealer.com/2002/...55472/info.php Now, I believe the car has more than a small amount of paintwork. It may have some other issues. But, this is a good dealership that I have done business with. They will be very up front about the car's condition. The price sort of tells you they know it is not pristine. And, if it was a basketcase, they would have wholesaled it off after it came in on a trade. With some tough bargaining and a thorough PPI this could be a real steal for someone looking for a C4S!

Did you talk to somebody at Leith about it? I'd be happy to talk to my salesguy if more info is needed. By the way, the car sold Saturday. Was just up at the dealer talking to my salesguy.

Hope the buyer looked real close. It looked great from 10ft, if you know what I mean. A good deal to be had, if you knew the full story.

Of course they did, Dell. Charlie and his crew run an outstanding dealership. I would never have posted the link if I thought otherwise. My point was that if something seems to good to be true, you need to ask lots of questions. Far too many posts on this forum tell us the aftermath of people falling for shiny things and not doing their homework.
