Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I replaced my tape storage with a cubby that I got from Partsheaven.com for about $10 plus shipping.

Al was really helpful but it would be best to send him a picture of the specific cubby that you want to replace (they got it wrong the first time).

You might want to also replace the ash tray with the non-smoker cubby.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just asking for clarification....Are we talking about a storage "box" that would fit in the space where the 4 CDs are now stored? If so, I am also interested in one. How does one remove the "CD Box".

thats cool , looks like sunset has a good price for $26. i was checking here because somepeople have hoards of extra parts laying around. its $40 from dealer if i pick it up/.
Yeah, I hear that all the time from my wife!
The part that REALLY pisses me off is the way she phrases it. You would think she would simply say something like "That was way too fast!" But no..... she always has to say something like "You are much faster than ALL of the other guys!"
Order it from Sunset, it will be less even with shipping.
Also, I believe there are two different shapes, so you will need to specify if it is going into the top or bottom slot.
FWIW,
Since I had CF around the CD holder I decided to mod it rather than get the upper cubby. You can pop out all the guts quite easily, then line the bottom w/ rubber, and voila, u got cubby.
It's smaller than the regular one, but perfect for cellphones, ID badges, etc. I'll snap a pic tonight.

I just purchased the CD storage box to replace the old tape storage box. Can anyone tell me a safe way to remove the old tape storage box? I don't want to just "yank on it" if there is a better way. Thanks
Andy is correct.
Open all of the cassett/CD drawers
Grab all of the drawers with both hands
yank the unit out.
Inseret new cubby.
Total time = 8.42 seconds.
QUOTE=SilverC2S;7389567]It went exactly the way everyone said it would. Yank on it and it comes right out. Thanks[/QUOTE]
Somehow, that just sounds wrong!
