Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Now that I am using the key this does not seem to happy because the horn starts going very shortly after locking it.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, Quick question. Both my keys remotes no longer work so I need to lock the doors with the actual key. When I used to lock the doors with the remote and the dog in car it would not false so I assume it would automatically turn off the motion sensor when it sensed the doggy. Now that I am using the key this does not seem to happy because the horn starts going very shortly after locking it. Any else have this problem and know a solution? Thank you in advance!! Michael

POST 2Original post

Try locking it twice in rapid succession. That may turn off the interior movement sensors. That works with the remote fobs, so it may work with the key in the lock.

POST 3Original post

teach the dog to bark at passers by and leave the car un-locked

POST 4Original post

Better yet........teach the dog to say "Go buy a Toyota!" Maybe a parakeet with terretts would be better.
