Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

anyone running water wetter with the oem porsche coolant/antifreeze? just wanted to know if they are compatible or if it causes a reaction with the notoriously fussy pink porsche stuff. ive seen horrors with the addition of a second coolant causing a reaction that turns it like jello so am wary of adding anything in there without some research first

POST 2Original post

I would think that stuff is fine. It's excellent stuff. Have considered putting it in mine when it needs a little bit of fluid.

POST 3Original post

I use it on both my track cars only because regular coolant is not allowed. IMO, I cannot see any advantage in a road car, your regular coolant should be doing the job just fine, if it's not then you have other issues.

Right. And the Red Line site shows it to be of minimal benefit in the typical 50/50 antifreeze/water mix anyway.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

well seen i was bored and had little on my mind im actually in texas and cool just fine but had been thinking over the summer if maybe adding something to help out wouldnt be a bad idea. after all 100 plus degrees all the time and traffic arent really optimum conditions. thanks for the replies

Quoting an old and tried and true saying...."If it works, don't fix it".
