Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Rule of thumb for me: any business trip over 4 days and I use a driver service.
Leading evidence: 'Use driver service' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'safest section' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend good garage' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I second the Parking Spot, or I have also used the Hilton.

I only left the 911 at the airport once but I've used valet at the Parking Spot dozens of times with no problems.

Suspected cause
They have a valet service but I think they'll let you park it yourself in the valet area which is probably the safest section.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Need to fly out of LAX tomorrow, wondering if anyone could recommend a good garage for parking the 996. I did some searches through the site, and only found multi year old posts on the subject...wondering if anyone has a fresh recommendation. Thanks!
How long of a duration? I usually just leave the car at home and take a cab. The other choice is parking at one of the hotels off Airport Road -- Sheraton or something like that. They have shuttles.
If you must. Keep your car outside of LAX if your car doesn't have a front license plate, otherwise get ready for a ticket. I recommend The Parking Spot on Sepulveda and Lincoln next to In-n-Out. That's where I normally park (albeit not my P-car). I see Porsches, Maseratis and the occassional Ferrari there. You can learn more here

I usually take my Cayenne S
to the airport and leave the 996 at home....
Cab it bud. Not worth it PERIOD. In fact, now that you posted a question - murphy's law kicked in... If you have a significant other or a freind to take you - do it. Oh and eat an In and Out Burger for the rest of us.
I am only out for a few nights. I live south of John Wayne, but have to go up to LAX to catch a specific flight route, so I was assuming a cab would be pretty crazy for that long of a parking span (cab cost vs. parking fees).
I will look into Wally Park and The Parking Spot. Thanks for the suggestions, please keep them coming.
bk12,
The only garage I would recommend is a chop shop. Just drop it off at one so there is no wondering where it went when you get back. I would rather drive to my destination then fly. I know it may complicate getting to LAX, but you do have some options with parking at Union Station and taking the "Fly-away" bus to LAX.
Let me know if I can help out any further.
Good luck,

Rule of thumb for me: any business trip over 4 days and I use a driver service. Mock the Lincoln Town Car if you want, but the new ones are quite comfortable in the back seat. Plus, been using the same service for 8 years so they know what coffee I like and have it in the car waiting for me.
Under 4 days, I park in the airport parking lot. I've found that because it's expensive, a lot of folks don't park there. Mostly, they're fairly nice cars so I worry less. And, I park in a corner spot anyways.
Off topic but I gave up on worrying about the paint after getting keyed.
I normally fly out of San Diego and see Ferrari's and Maserati's parked next to Chevys. Not saying anything other than it doesn't matter where you park. If you're going to get dinged,....you're going to get dinged. Don't spend a lot of time thinking about it. Just find a good spot when you park.
"The Spot" seems okay. They have a valet service but I think they'll let you park it yourself in the valet area which is probably the safest section.

I only left the 911 at the airport once but I've used valet at the Parking Spot dozens of times with no problems. I would leave my 911 at the Parking Spot without hesitation. But now that I know about Wally's ding protection, I'd probably give it a try.
I second the Parking Spot, or I have also used the Hilton.
Also, as someone else said do not enter the airport area or airport owned parking areas without a front tag, or you WILL get a ticket.
Also recommend the parking spot -- there are two, one on Century, the other on Sepulveda. I use the valet service for an extra $2/day. They offer a bottle of chilled water and a newspaper as well. So far so good, knock on wood.
Just to provide an update...parked at wally park, and loved the service. Quick, convenient, and the car dividers seem to work pretty well. Recommend them, and will be using them from now on at LAX.
We use the one right off the freeway, but I can't remember the name.
Have left the Cayenne there twice for long trips and it was fine.
I wouldn't leave my 911 though.
