Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

You can save some money doing it yourself, but see the thread above regarding changing plugs.
Leading evidence: 'Replace plugs' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace plugs' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

throw on an aerokit, some 19" champion wheels, exhaust, suspension and a few other goodies and you just described my car. I had put it up for sale over the winter for around $45k and generated a lot of interest, but I decided to keep it; so I would say somewhere in the range of mid 40's. Is it a dealer car or private seller? What's it got for options?
have you got any pictures of your car? it may help me decide if I want to pursue the car (you can email to

if you like). Private Seller - 40k
I bought a 99 c2 with 27K miles in december for 36K. Options included limited slip diff, the high option stereo, traction control and active breaking diff (budget PSM
), and 18" wheels.
1999 C2 Cab with Traction Control, CR210 Stereo, 6 CD Changer, lots of other options I can't recall all of them now in great shape with 34000 miles for 37K in January.
I would say it depends. Most really low priced 99 are actually 98. The 99 model was made from 2/98 until 7/99. If yours is an early model I would say around 36 up 42 for a well optioned newer 99.
996Pilot, that's a very good buy.
I paid $47k 12mo's ago for a CPO 99 Cab w/25k. There seem to be more available this year than last. It took me 4 months to find mine. I would think my car has depreciated $4-5k since purchase.
Ricky,
I would think excellent condition 99 Cab's w/ 25-35k miles would be selling in low-to-mid 40's. Also, expect to pay $1k for the 30k mi Scheduled Service, if you intend to have the regularly scheduled service done at the dealer. You can save some money doing it yourself, but see the thread above regarding changing plugs.
There are quite a few CPO listings at PCNA site starting mid $40's.

These probably sell $3-4k below asking price. Private sales might be ~$2k cheaper. CPO cars include a 100pt inspection, however, and you do get a copy of the mechanic's worksheet. They even test and record the value for each cell of the battery.
Paid high 40's early last year for an ocean blue metallic cab with moderate options and 8000 miles. In almost new condition at the time. Will have depreciated since then and the miles are a couple thousand higher now as well. I figure that low 40's would be fair. I think mods tend to decrease the value and that options don't really add value, except if it's a cab or a C4 (not that these are options).
