Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just put my summer wheels and tires on (with brand new Potenza S-02As). Do you guys do anything special to break in tires?

POST 2Original post

I don't do anything special, but I do take it easy. I find brand new tires don't quite grip as well, especially in the rain... so for a couple of hundred miles just be mindful of the tires. Rob

POST 3Original post

Just follow what riad said. Try and avoid short stops. The lub used to mount the tires needs disapate. If you have to stop too quickly, the tires will slip a little on the rim throwing off the balance. Most recommendations I have seen from tire installers is 200 miles....enjoy your new sneekers.....

POST 4Original post

Drive like you normally do. Go a couple hundred miles. Check inflation and retorque wheel bolts to spec.
