Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

My jack had a metal cup in it that you could take out....it left a hole where the metal cup fit ....I guess so you could change the cups...so I just took a spade bit and cut out a recessed hole about 3/8' deep in the hockey puck, then drilled a hole in the center of the recessed area and put a bolt in it and set the bolt in the hole, with a nut underneath to hold it in place.

Has anyone used the jack pads from automotion before?
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Has anyone used the jack pads from automotion before? seem to be about half the price of the ebay ones. From the picture, do they look like there are two pieces, one for jack stand an one for floor jack?
I've heard from a couple guys that those round metal ones that slide into your jack slot....have slipped off the jack a time or two. The round rubber hockey pucks are only about $3.50 each and the best deal for the money. I bolted mine to the jack by recessing the bolt into the rubber puck so it doesn't slip off..
I guess I'll try the hockey pucks then! Manhattan hockey puck prices are outrageous BTW, so is hardware, will have to be a country project anyway so will buy everything next week.
Did you drill and tap at the cup of the jack to screw down the puck? I have two identical floorjacks sitting out at my father's, and four stands, so I guess it's not the end of the world if it's irreversible as I'd have at least one unmodified jack, but since those jacks and stands service several of our cars I'd prefer a solution that leaves everything usable for all of the other vehicles as well.
You can buy hockey pucks for about 99 each in the northern states and they are highly effective! I have no idea how Perf. Products expects to sell those things that they have for that kind of money. Years ago when you had a different sort of receiver port you needed one of those "Polis lollipops" but today the puck works extremely well!

If you have the type that has a fixed metal platform, you can drill the platform and essentiall do the same thing. The hockey pucks are only about 3 inches in diameter so they fit into most of the jackpoints just right.
Well since it doesn't look like Manhattan is going to be much fun this week, I'm getting the hell out of dodge and will go hockey puck shopping in the morning.
My jacks do have the removable pads and the cup, I just can't remember how much metal is in the center of the cup. I guess I could also just dremel some slots into the puck to fit the raised tabs on the exterior ring of the cup. will be fun to play with tools again!
