I have used NXT on my midnight blue C4S cab with mixed results.
I used NXT for a while but was really disappointed with the durability (although reapplication was easy) and am currently using Glanz Wax (a synthetic wax).

Like I've always said...I use rejex cause I'm lazy and hate washing the car.

Unless you know what you are doing with sealant type products I'd recommend NXT.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have used NXT on my midnight blue C4S cab with mixed results. How is rejex in terms of application, removal, haziness, durability on dark colors? Any thoughts new thoughts since this was last discussed?
I applied Rejex to my wife's black car last August ('03 Saab 9-5 Aero sportwagon). I must say I am still impressed with the results, especially on durability. To this day it is still shinning very nicely, and continues to bead like crazy. Even after the extreme rains we got here in So. Cal just recently. Application and removal was very easy. The only down side is the 12 hr minimum curing period. But then again after seeing the results on durability 8 months after application, I'd say the curing period is a small price to pay.
I started with Rejex when I got my '04 C4S Cab. Stunning results, though this ain't no 'dark' color, if you know what I mean.
I loved the product so much, I now carry it!
From my experience the Rejex will more than likely have much better durability than NXT. However, Rejex offers nothing in the way of hiding imperfections in the paint, like micro marring and swirl type marks, whereas, NXT does. Therefore, prep work will much more important with Rejex than with the NXT. NXT is very user friendly and goes on quickly and comes off very easily (as you know)...Rejex not necessarily the same while it goes on and off rather easily there is a cure period before the car is suppose to be exposed to rain (could be factor to you but maybe not) additionally to get the best durability the surface has to be free of oils, fillers, etc. for proper bonding, thus only pure polishes should used.
The looks of NXT and Rejex are really different. Rejex has much more reflective high shine look whereas, NXT has a much softer, deep warm type of glow to it. Neither is "better" than other just different. It depends on your preferences which you like better. Rejex will not have any haziness if used properly.
As for the dark color car issue that is up to you. Dark colored cars are a much bigger challenge when it comes to keeping swirl free. They show swirls, small scratches and micro marring so much more readily than lighter colored cars. I gave up on sealants like Rejex and Zaino on my wifes daily driven black car because they showed the imperfections so easily. I used NXT for a while but was really disappointed with the durability (although reapplication was easy) and am currently using Glanz Wax (a synthetic wax). Durability has been excellent (7-8 months) both in the heat of summer and harshness of winter (applied last June and I just had to reapply the first of March) and does have some prosperities that hide micro marring and swirls.
Another thing to consider is what type of car washes you do. NXT's booster wax (PITA to use IMO) and the car wash shampoo really extend the life of NXT (without them NXT's durability is average at best). Rejex, Zaino, Klasse or Glanz will perform much better than NXT if you use commercial car washes often without using the booster wax.
I never been a fan of super sealants like Ziano or Rejex. IMO they last long and make the surface reflect light very well, but they have no depth in the color. As Bet said thoes sealants don't hide minor swirls and are difficult to use since you have such a long cure time. The key to detailing is 90 % preperation and 10% product. To get a good shine with no defect it takes a good polishing with a machine like the Porter Cable. OTC product like NXT has polishing oils in them so you can get a better look without tons of hours of preperation, this does not mean you still don't have to polish the car first. As a trade in for the polishing oils NXT won't last that long. It has been debated how long does it last, but I have heard some where between 2-3 months. Given on how easy is NXT is to apply and remove I rather use it and apply it every 4-6 weeks as the deepth is more important on a dark color car that reflections. Personally I like to do a good detail job once every 6 months. I wash, clay, then usually polish with Meguiars #80 with a machine and seal with Wolfgang sealant. I like wolfgang because it has more of that depth I'm looking for. I maintan the finsh by applying a carnuba wax on top like P21S or Meguiar #26 every 6 weeks. I like the depth a carnuba adds on top of the sealant. Rejex is a good long lasting product and you might like this product. It all depends on personal preferance and how much time are you willing to wash and polish. Either way you won't be disappointed in either products as long as you know what are the pros and cons of each product you choose.
I've been using Rejex since I've had my car. I've only actually washed the car with water twice since (once was done by Akkurat). I usually just use a detail spray and wipe off the car once a week. Like I've always said...I use rejex cause I'm lazy and hate washing the car. It seems to do a good job of keeping the car clean and making what dirt that is on the car just wipe off easily. 15minutes every sunday and the car is as good as new!
I am currently conducting an experiment. Since Saturday, I have rejex on my right front wheel and only remaining wax on the left. Also rejex on the rear bumper.
Unless you know what you are doing with sealant type products I'd recommend NXT.
Easy to use. Fantastic shine plus there is an excellent line of add on products to compliment the shine. I've used Meguires products for the last 15 years for my daily drivers and show cars. Love it...
Tec Wax paste and liquid, speed detailer, and NXT car wash. All are packaged in the purple and green bottles. I like the stuff. Seems pretty good to me...
Rejex on my daily driver only. On my Audi and P, I use Meguiar's. But I am **** about details.
Rejex worked well on wheels. It prevents brake dust from adhering to the rims Good for the leading edge of business jets to ease bug removal. For real shine?? IMO there are better products.
I have had great success with Zaino. Easy to put on and IMHO great depth and shine. We have had a nasty winter in the NE this year and my daily driver (540i) has been loaded with rocksalt most of this winter, when I get it washed the shine still looks great. Don't knock it untill you try it. I've been using it since 1999 and haven't looked back.

I have had great results with NXTand Gold Class as an extra on top. The car is super easy to put on the carnuba on with smooth slick paint with no contaminents. I am able to put a thin coat of wax on and remove it without looking like a fiddler crab after I'm finished. My car is Seal Grey, so the color is not going to really "POP" as much as the blues, reds and blacks. But, it does shine well enough to see the blues and alternate hues in the paint. The real color as opposed to just silver or grey. I am happy with the NXT. I have used Zaino and Rejex in the past and feel they are great except they don't sell in normal stores. Avalability is the hassle. I have put about 6 coats of NXT on with good results, I can't help being compulsive........
