Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 3Original post

looks like it has PCCBs. Good looking C4s... But if you're budget is 100k, I would go for a used turbo and have $$$ leftover to mod.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I will be getting the complete option list soonish. I looked at the car about a month ago and it was very loaded. I have my heart on a TT though. Deon. PS. Just got off the phone and they will have option list to me tomorrow. I do recall it has yellow stitching and crests on the seats. Rear seating had a lot of yellow as well as the centre console.

POST 5Original post

Sport technology wheels, 4k option. Those are red brakes I believe. Good price, get them to go down a little more and jump on it.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think they did mention PCCB's but will have that verified with option list tomorrow. Should I go with this what can I expect for my 9k mile 2003 Targa. 18 inch wheel option, Bose upgrade and Xenon package?. Brand new tyres mind you.

POST 8Original post

Are they offering 11K off the 99K? If so, that's a good price, otherwise it's not a great price and unless you're in love with all that yellow. You're paying for options that you might not otherwise have ordered and have no value when you try to sell the car.

POST 9Original post

am i color blind or is the reflector more red than orange?

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yep it is 11k of the 99K. Although the options where posted I will get the price breakdown on each later. I am going to hang in for a slightly used Turbo though.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Jon, The picture is not truly reflective of the colour. When I looked at the car in person it was more yellow than the pink tint we see.

Nice list....nice car.....I just NEVER buy new!!!! Let someone else get massacred with the out-the-door hit!!!! Just my .02

POST 14Original post

Very nice car. Personally, it's close enough to GT3 pricing where I would have to seriously consider it. There is a 2005 SY GT3 sitting at my local dealership (it's been there 4 months or so, hated seeing it sitting under snow). Best of luck with your decision.

POST 15Original post

$4000 to have the brake calipers painted in yellow vs stock paint? am i missing something here.. are these upgraded brakes, or is porsche charging $4000 just to have them painted yellow vs the factory color?

POST 16Original post

I was so fascinated with the painted caliper price I went searching through the order guides; couldn't find it for a C4S, but on a GT it's $8,460 to get red calipers instead of standard yellow, so I would guess the C4S price is correct ($3,825). That is, of course, complete insanity. I would seriously push this point with the dealer and try and get another $3-4K knocked off the price for their stupidity in ordering the car with this option!
