It is more than daytime running lights, all of the outside lights turn on whenever the engine is on.

I have a Canadian delivered car. When it was registered in the US the instrument cluster was changed. The AC temp setting is still in Celsius. It is more than daytime running lights, all of the outside lights turn on whenever the engine is on. The only difference when you turn the headlights on is that the instrument lights come on. The lights also stay on when the key is turned off and not removed; however, they do dim significantly and turn off once the key is removed. I actually like the daytime lights. I believe the suspension is the same on all North America cars.
I am the second owner, so once I was satisfied that the new instrument cluster did not start at 0 miles, I have not worried about it. The car had 24,000 miles on it when I purchased it.

the pricing structure based on the CDA - US echange rates is way out of whack with what Porsche has tried to maintain. In other words, all the other countries pay on market exchange rate differences with Germany EXCEPT the US. They siginificanlty under price the car in the US.
As such, i don't see how a Canadian car could make it's way south of the border based on pure economics. Perhaps they are trying to dodge the disclosure of a full history?
I have to agree. The dealer here in Vancouver has a 2004 C4 Cab for $ 126,000 in the showroom. The car is used with about 3,000 km on it I believe. Here is the BC inventory:

Just divide by 1.2 and you have the price in US $ plus 3.6 % duty for comparison. Taxes are 17 % in BC which doesn't make it cheaper.
