Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I need a GT3 rear wing (mk1 Aero) to finish off my '99 update project. I 'm only interested in a functional wing with the movable center element! Please IM me if you have one or have a lead. Need it to finish off this car:

POST 3Original post

I searched forever for mine, ended up finding the best deal on ebay for $500 for oem.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yah I've been looking on EBay for a few months now. I'll keep looking. Any idea what these run from any of the 'discount' OEM dealer parts retailers? Here are a few pix I found if you like the old 996 Carrera Cup cars as I do.... They didnt run these wings for long.

POST 5Original post

The stock wing is no longer available from Porsche directly according to Suncoast. I've already purchased and returned a knock off from ebay. Be careful in your search...

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Do you have the part # of the original? I dont see it in my PET. Also what is required for the engine cover? I have not researched this much.

POST 7Original post

The part number is 996 512 901 00. That's the rear deck lid with the adjustable wing.
