I think that Yasuro had FedEx pack my aero wing and I have to say that it was the best packing job I've ever seen - not cheap, but better to have it done right, then damage the part.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am trying to purchase a rear 99 996 bumper from across the US (MA to CA) and need a shipping box. Does anyone have one or any good suggestions? Thank You, Paul

POST 2Original post

Have the sender take it to a shipping facility (UPS or FedEX) and have them pack it. Plus, when it arrives, you get the added bonus of having styrofoam peanust blow all over your yard!

Now if I could only convince the seller that it's just that simple............ Ain't a bit@h when you want something and you can't have it!

POST 5Original post

Have him pick one up at a local body shop. My buddy ships bicycles all the time and just goes over to local bike shops and gets their boxes and packs them up.

i actually had a packaging shop box it and then i lugged it over to FedEx to ship it. FedEx Kinkos didn't have a box big enough and i wanted it packaged right.

Ahh, that would explain it. I was impressed that a company like Fedex would do the job so well... it makes more sense that it was a local store - they packed the box the way that I would have done it. Thanks for clarifying.
