I've got a great friend w/a high end used lot in Nashville, and he used to be the top salesperson at the local P dealer....he knows his stuff....a client had him order an '01 Cab the way he would have wanted it, without consulting w/the client....it's back on his lot now....Slate grey (which was a special order in '01), C4 Cab.....absolutely loaded, w/9000 miles....upper mid 50's....they didn't have a C4S Cab in 01, but it's tempting...

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

to trade an '03 C4S for an '02 C4S, to be rid of the MOST buss? I've done nothing to my car since its purchase (about 5 weeks ago), except Bumper Plugs!!!! I'm really into audio, and nav......is there a disadvantage, other than warrantee length, to downtrading?????

POST 2Original post

Not dumb as long as you get a little $$ back IMHO

POST 5Original post

I wouldn't deal with going through all that just for the stereo... simply pull everything out and put a new amp/head unit/nav system/speakers, etc.

POST 6Original post

Not for a '01. You'll get a weaker engine, and an older style body.

POST 7Original post

A stereo ain't worth changing the car, just wire around it, alot of guys have.

POST 8Original post

To answer your question "Yes".... just my .02....

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you all...I'll sit tight!!!!!

POST 10Original post

Yes it is dumb....dont take that the wrong way...just re-wire, i did and it wasnt bad

POST 11Original post

I cannot even begin to comprehend why you would want to do this...it is unthinkable in so many levels, all I can say is if someone offers me an 01 C4 cab for my 03C4S, I'll do everything in my powers to do bodily harm to that individual.
