now that i'm all warrantied up and my car is essentially brand new (with a fire extinguisher in the passenger seat of course), considering every part has been replaced <g> hopefully it'll trouble free for awhile...

in my search for a light weight version of PSE, i tried out the GHL loud. thought it was going to be louder than PSE but it actually is similar to the regular GHL. i confirmed with GHL that they sent me the loud version so go figure. although the GHL almost equals the PSE in volume outside, in the cabin the GHL sounds quieter... go figure. i think it would be perfect for a cab.
the GHL loud has a nice tone, more of a purr rather than the PSE bark.

Are you sure you have the loud GHL? I have the regular GHL on mine, a friend has the loud versioin, his are clearly louder than mine, not by that much but louder none the less.
twin turbo front bumper.. $1,300 euromeister wheels.. $325 each new.. i paid $500 for all 4 used from someone local..
was one of those offers I couldn't pass up.. sold my stock ones for $1000, worked out quite nicely

I'm not sure that you can get a getter exhaust note in my opinion, although it could be ever so slightly louder
if you want to save some weight get rig of the rear seats!!!
Well I just listened five times to that soundbite! The sound reminds me of the old XKE's with opened-up exhausts. "Purr rather than bark" is an excellent description, and I have always liked cats better than dogs. The search for a deal might be on!

well, i'm not positive but all signs tell me i did get the loud version. i ordered the loud and called GHL and they confirmed that they sent out the loud version.
exactly! for me it could be a little louder but yes you can't beat the sound.
i'm trying to lighten up the car and add a few more ponies so i thought i would go exhaust shopping.
BTW rear seats are already out :O
