Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I dented my 2003 C4S. The auto body guy is telling me the C4S nhas three radiators which are square and mine has only two which are rectangle? Is any of this true. He was recommended from from a classic Porsche dealer here in Nashville, but the estimate has gone from $4,300 to $6,000. He says the parts aren't matching and it may have started on the assembly line as a ciompetition Porsche, Group B or Group 2 or something. Is he blowing smoke?
Thank you
I'm from Nashville, and I'd suggest you call Sean Petty @Music City Motorsports [phone removed], and pick his brain for the best shop in town to help you....Sean was the top salesperson @Thoroughbred Motors (the auth P dealer) for years, and knows his stuff, and I'd trust his judgement on all things Porsche.....another lead would be Andrew @Music City P&A [phone removed]. He doesn't do body work, but he's a great indy Porsche shop, and could also steer you in the right direction.
Good Luck!!!!
The C4S has two rectangular radiators. If that's what your car has, then it's the stock setup and the mechanic has no clue. It doesn't matter who refered him. Get someone else.
RLandis, Sean's partner at Music City Motors
is who referred me to the body shop. He also estimated $600 for the headlight, then switched it tp $1,400. He said he didn't realize it had a washer? I agree, the guy doesn't seem to have a clue. Maybe the folks at Music City Motors get a big kick back. I don't know. Sean's partner said the body shop did all his paint and body work when he ownrd the BMW dealership. Somebody is playing games with me I think.
Any local club members on here. Who's good in Nashville?
