Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Has anyone here tried these new mufflers? I am pretty close to ordering a set but wanted a little more feedback. I am tiring of my bypass pipes after about a year. They are just a bit too loud. These seem to be a good compromise. Light weight, quiet normally and great sound at WOT. Any thoughts or impressions would be appreciated. Thanks
I went out and bought these for my 99 3.4 - they are great. I prefer the sound now 500mi later as they have broken in. Great quality product - and very low weight. Make sure you purchase the Vband Clamps for the tips as they make the install a lot easier and better. Power is better also. You can not use 99 stock tips - I went with aftermkt 02 tips
Love the sound- nice Deep tone that roars as you hit it but yet a little above mellow at cruising speed 65-80 mph. The sound at idle is slightly louder than stock and got's that "silent but deadly" note to it- love it!
If you're looking to add some "rowdiness" to your ride and not be overwhelmed by bypass pipes- this is the real deal! I have a cab and so the sound is a bit louder with the top down and I would imagine quite a bit louder than when in a coupe so definitely not for the timid. Brian Kono is a great guy with some serious skillz and priced at a point where's it's a no-brainer decision.
There's a fairly long thread in the 996 section of the 6speedonline.com forum. Most p-owners there seem to like them. They claim some performance gains in addition to the light weight and sound.
