Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I installed a set of GHL on my C2 this past spring and not to be biase, everyone seems to really like the sound.

Im a newbie on this site. Just bought a 02 996 Cab a few weeks ago. Im interested in putting in a new exhaust system. Looks like Fabspeed gets the most ravs. I was thinking about buying Fabspeed but then heard about GHL Exhaust. I heard some things bout them. Having a hard time deciding which is a better exhaust. Any opinions and advise would greatly appreciated. Thanks
I have GHLs on both of my cars. Great sound, quality construction (made in USA), excellent customer service. And best of all, GHL is a site sponsor AND gives discounts to rennlist members. Full disclosure: I have no experience whatsoever with Fabspeed.
The first 996 Cab I test drove had Fabspeeds installed, I currently have GHL's and they seem a bit quieter around town than the Fabspeeds from what I recall. But both are loud at WOT.
be cadrefull with the fabspeed as they have a tendancy to drone. Do not have much experience with GHL so can not comment. I had tubi on mine and they were great. a little pricey though..
I've had Fabspeed mufflers on my 00' Cab for 8 months now and am very happy with them. The fit/quality and ease of installation were all top-notch. I do not notice any droning with my installation.
I have fabspeed as well bought from a fellow rennlister! I am very happy with the sound. The wife does not complain when in the car. Its quite when u want it to be and loud when u step on it. I installed them myself and I am not a handy man.
I installed a set of GHL on my C2 this past spring and not to be biase, everyone seems to really like the sound. I'm talking about mechanics that work on the P cars all the time and they must have heard all kinds of aftermarket exhuast systems.
I've actually had both on my Cab...my opinion is the Fabspeeds were too loud (drone) when the top was down...the GHL's were too quiet (unless you are WOT )....so I ended up somewhere in the middle with Tubi's.....like Manny_G said, a little pricey....but you can't beat the sound of the Tubi's.....only other thoughts is a stock PSE without the electronics.....
