Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I must admit that I changed the exhaust using the wrong bolts.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I tried to install the cat back system today. Everything was fine until I tried to remove the upper bofts that hold the muffler bracket on the engine. Everything else was easy. Anyway I had to put the stock system back together. Any hints on reaching those upper bolts or just pay someone to do it. Porsche dealer wants $270 to install and the corner p-car mechanic wants $150. Advice please?
YIKES! you didn't need to do that. just undo the 3 nuts on the muffler hanger and the sleeve connecting the mufflers to the cats.
just did my mufflers this weekend too and it was super easy, especially with out the headers in the way
Its fiddly but it can be done. You may be able to make better progress by removing the rear wheels to get at the 3 bolts that hold the mufflers in place. The hardest part is getting the tips on and aligned.
I got it!!!! I was going for the wrong bolts--It is done and it sounds great--Unfortunately it is snowing big time so I'm not taking it out now...yippie--now when my painted console comes in later this week, I'll install the ssk.....Jeff
I drove the car today for the 1st time with the exhaust---sounds geat--also got their tips--looks great--no resonance or rattlin--just great sound--gotta thank Dan at Vivid for great service and fast shipment and a perfect product--1st rounds on me
HAHA, not loud enough! at least for me anyway. it has a nice purring sound (PSE has a louder bark) and if it were louder then i would actually keep them. i wanted louder than PSE and i just didn't get it
. you can come by and have a listen
