OK as Alon posted in another topic, this is NOT bragging, But really I can't stop with the mods.
As some of you may or may not know, I bought an Aero kit II, well i wasn't happy with some of the parts like the GT3 front bumper, nice piece but I found it to be really close to the stock one. The rear wing , a thing of beauty , but a little to Much for me.Ok so i thought I'll install a TT front bumper instead of the GT3 one.Well on my search I came across a Gemballa GT600 Front bumper , and a 993 style kevlar/cf hood........So i bought them, now i am ordering a Tech Art II wing. Why cant i leave the dam car alone??I still have all the lowering items waiting to be installed...I cant even finish one mod, before I do the next..MAN I NEED HELP!
Hmmmm... When you buy a P-car, you want and expect perfection. You have it and then you realize all you did was raise the watermark. But hey, it's cheaper than a drug addiction (I think)

Well! I keep telling myself, we already have a nice car don't spend anymore $$$$ on mod.
p/s I going to install my pss9 this weekend.
I am having the same struggle. Only my other expensive addictions are scuba diving, skiing, guitars, fine wines, fine food and adventure travel (biking, hiking, rafting) etc. 4 kids tend to soak up the bucks too. Still, I can't stop thinking about mods either. I'm hoping I'll get over it...

Hey Omar, the wing is sold, as with the front bumper, the Techart wing looks like a 993 TT wing, but it has air scoops on the front sides of the wing, its smaller as well, I am hoping the car will look good, with the aray of parts....only one way to find out i guess.
Paul, I would do the suspension stuff first, then do some track time and re-evaluate. I'll bet you'll pump that aero stuff down the road. Or, your wife will just have a fit like mine and 'help' you decide.
I've been nagging him to get over to our friend's shop one of these Saturdays for us to install his suspension.

My first mod was Fabspeed mufflers (love them). What should the next mod be? Fabspeed headers or intake system (not K&N), or both? Any ideas are welome.
Guys, I think you all screwed up at the starts with your wife.
I'm getting the following with the proper excuse:
NEw Fabspeed pipes : What new pipes honey ? How you mean the louder sounds...I just removed a baffle that the car that are sold in California must have...mine had it by mistakes.
New Suspension: What honey ? the car looks lower ? Yes it does, it was a simple adjustment. They are made to be adjusted when you buy them.
New pedals : Ho honey these new things..yes, they were supposed to come with the 40th Anniversary but they forgot to installed them when I picked up the car.
...and if all else fails...honey who are you going to believe...me or your lying eyes !!!!!
No really I just blame all of you guys, I says things like well their wifes buy them the parts, or Honey I need to be safe on the track, you know that downforce thing......Or i swear its the last one....(in my head) I am thinking for today......It does work if you have your fingers crossed!!
you've pretty much done everything right? you've done power, suspension and bling, what else could you do? seats? stereo?

I think most of us suffer from that same problem, as for me, I see may kids and know I have spent enough on myself and no it's their turn. Cal me silly, but that what fatherhood does to a man, I am just happy to have the Targa I have. Truly... Good Luck -
