Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm looking at purchasing a 2002 with a 2006 front headlight conversion kit installed, but I can't seem to find anywhere how he got it and if it was installed improperly (without factory specs). However, it does look clean from photos sent.

POST 3Original post

My brother is doing the same is the car in Portland. I can't find any conversion kits either.

POST 5Original post

P.S. The story is that the guy bought it at a Police auction so that's why it has a salvage title.

Another ? would be to know if this conversion hurts the value of the car, even if the chassis is excellent condition.

POST 8Original post

Body conversion tends to really hurt trade/wholesale values, but the private party value is probably all right if you are selling to someone who wants to perform the conversion anyway. It should be at least somewhat reversible (assuming you keep your original panels, bumper and lights)

POST 9Original post

I've seen the kit or at least pics of someone doing the kit. I seem to recall that they quoted a price of about $9K but that info is useless since I can't remember on which board I saw the post. They did claim there weren't any major modifications involved.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
