Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone use these? I want something I can take on the track a few times and use also for my weekend car. Only a couple people have commented on the Toyo's but I can buy Bridgestone Reo5o a (non pole postions) for a bit cheaper but I think they may be really old and thats why they are liquidating them. What do you guys think? Ps. I know, PS2s are amazing but come on, I am going to rip those appart quickly and they cost too much!

POST 2Original post

I've used Toyo Proxes, not on a Pcar, but on a BMW. They tend to be noisy, but have excellent grip.

POST 3Original post

I have them on my 19s, (T1R). Some sidewall flex, but they're fine for street. Smoother & quieter than the Michelins on my 17s

POST 4Original post

I've got them on my 530i and they are loud at certain speeds. I haven't pushed the car too hard to comment on grip.

POST 5Original post

i have T1R's.... great tires, better than S03's.... Life and Grip is Good...

POST 6Original post

I use them on my S8 for summer driving and they're very nice, reasonably priced and deliver good performance. Maybe a little loud over rough roads, but not unbearable.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have them on their Pcar? BTW, thanks Zookie and HTNY

POST 8Original post

Quotes source post: 5770695

they are on my 996 C4S... second Summer, no Track... rear inside were done mid summer so i swaped them Left and Right.... so they should last me end of this summer and full next summer, as long as i stay off the Track... Fronts are 90%...

POST 9Original post

I have them. Like them, love the price and the wear seems to be better than my previous Pilot Sports.

POST 10Original post

Quotes source post: 5771590

I don't remember; had them about 2 years ago but don't they have (as most other high performance tires) a different out- and inside sidewall so you're not supposed to swap them?

POST 11Original post

I have them on my 996 - awesome tire, great grip wet & dry

POST 12Original post

Quotes source post: 5771881

yes they are directional, you can't switch them

POST 13Original post

Quotes source post: 5773966

they are Directional but not "Sided"... You can swap Left to Right as long as the Direction is Forward.... Swaping meaning taking the Tire off the Wheel..

POST 14Original post

Quotes source post: 5773975

Oh yes this is correct, sorry for the confusion

POST 15Original post

Quotes source post: 5773975

Wow - that's great! Main issue with high neg. camber that the insides are bald after 5k miles. Most other tires have an "outside" so you can't turn them on the wheel. Thanks for this input.

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the heads up, I went through Sam at Speed Gallery and he hooked me up with the best deal I found anywhere! I even called the Toyo wholesaler direct and he was just a bit above their wholesale cost to me! So it would have actually come out to more after I got it installed. Can't beat that!
