Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

FYI I paid $22k for mine and it is clean, had 99.9k (105k now) miles with no history but I know it has had some body work in the front done...

I can give some insight, because I test drove this car last week.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a friend who may be interested... apparently it's the 4th owner... 88k miles... It's a '99.
Many thanks!

Hey Denise,
We met at Taylor's place when I was picking up my car.
As for the flood bit, that was conjecture.. Carfax simply showed that this car had been registered in a location that was near a flood disaster. Nothing conclusive.

I would look for another car just because I hate these tools who don't name their price on Craigslist. "Make me an offer." If I wanted to bid for something I'd go to ebay.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was a scammer looking for a sucker to "bite" at his ad. I mean, it makes sense: crappy pictures so the buyer will call to ask more about the car, have the buyer make an offer so he can string her along, etc.
Hi Paul, Thanks for the info!
Programmatore, I agree... I hate when the price isn't listed. The guy emailed me back and said he wanted $24,500, but has yet to respond to my other, more detailed requests for info about engine problems, maintenance records, etc... I'm guessing he has no idea. I hope I'm wrong.
Every time I have seen an ad like that, Craigslist, eBay, et al. it's some sort of scam.
There are several things that are not right, starting with not a lot of info, but really, who posts those pictures?
Hey... its a 2 door... with the engine in the back!! those are rare, hense the "make an offer"
I would pass and not look back, there is something wrong with the ad, scammer
IMHO

I can give some insight, because I test drove this car last week. First, it is not a scam. Its certainly for real and in decent running condition. I'm not an experienced Porsche guy (just looking for the first time myself), so I don't know all the things to look for. However, I can say that it appeared to be in good condition. Ran strong, no shifting issues, etc. Beautiful leather interior. I remember the seats, dash, cluster being all leather. Carbon fiber pieces on the dash, and body color on the back of the seat.
Blemishes:
- Chips on the front/hood. Consistent with mileage
- Scuff on right rear bumper piece. Not sure what those pieces are that stick out, but its got a small 1" x 2" scuff on it.
- No radio. Harness just dangling
- Wheels. Looks like the previous owner just spray painted the center of the wheels gloss black and they are peeling horribly. Would definitely need to have them redone or replaced.
Currently has independent dealer tags. Story behind it is that the guy is in a car resale partnership out of Winchester. He bought this at an auction and it was a repo. No service records. Due to the mileage, lack of records, and blemishes, it was a bit too much for me to seriously consider.
Hope this helps!
The seller's son (Omar) is the one replying to you, but his dad is the one selling the car. I hate ads like this as well. Unfortunately, some people just aren't very skilled when it comes to the basics of selling on the Internet (info, nice pics, etc).

Good to hear. For anyone interested in this particular car, I would not necessarily shy away from it. Definitely get a PPI and get the price down some more. I went on an 8-10 mile drive, and it pulled strong from my limited 911 experience. Could be a fun car.
I'm personally just looking for something under 60k miles. When I saw this on CL, it just really caught my eye with the yellow and aero kit. Paint overall is still in great condition. Some touch up paint and rims would do the car really well.
