I decided not to replace the stock header since it seems that I would see no potential gain in HP/TQ.

Hi, New to this post and I have been researching headers/exhausts/sport cats for a very long time and seem to get turned around in circles. I have mainly been looking into Fabspeed and Ztek (because they are so cheap). My final decision is based on every bit of data I could find online, and I have finally made my decision - could I please get some opinions from people who have used/tested these before in the past? I decided not to replace the stock header since it seems that I would see no potential gain in HP/TQ. I am going with the Fabspeed sport cats as well as the Fabspeed exhaust....is this a fair conclusion as far as best bang for my buck? Should I be looking into Fabspeed/Ztek/other headers at this point or will this do the trick as far as gaining more HP and having a sportier sound? Thanks so much as I greatly appreciate everyone who has posted on here as well as all the help this forum provides!!!

I have everything you have mentioned on a factory aero and it's awesome. powerband moved up in rpm but computer adjustment took care of this and other improvements. The car is not catchable even by the 997's on hwy. very very very happy with all.

Awesome Dallas! I appreciate your input - what do you mean by power band moved up? I have already had my chip modded, and I seem to have much better "higher RPM' response than I did before i.e. it never cuts out, like it occasionally did, after 6K RPM and it goes through to redline pretty nicely and with lots of power. Glad to hear you can beat the 997's Also, where did you get your aero kit and what is your recommendations about getting them painted? I am assuming I would have to do this outside of where I order it from? Thanks again - car looks great!!!!
