So, I have had my Stainless steel Fabspeed maxflow mufflers on for over two years now. They sound better than ever. No problems there. However, when I originally got them they looked shiny and gleaming like they were chromed. Now they look horrible and rusty. Am I the only one experiencing this? Suggestions to clean them up (without removing from the car)?

No scouser, they all do that, the only way to clean them up , on the car anyways is alot of metal polish...and time on your back.

I agree they sure looked like mirrors when they went on and look like crap now. No sense cleaning otherwise it will never stop. Hell it already takes me 2 hours just to clean and polish my wheels(full polish).

I've used Bar Keeper's Friend in the past on both my fabspeed mufflers and original stainless tips. Worked wonders for the shine on my car. Didn't do so well for my back, elbows and knuckles though.

Berney I've used Semi-Chrome with lots of good results. ITs fairly common in England. I don't know for certain, but I think thats where its made. Had lots of luck on my BMW tips.
