Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I bought from B-wine and had the PSE installed by local Porsche guy for $195.

I had the car on a hoist so it was a little easier changing the mufflers.

Suggestion
I like Rennlist, would like to use the sponsors as a thank you, and it's a bummer that the sponsors don't have good prices on PSE.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I would bet that Brandywine in PA still has tre lowest pricing. I bought mine there last spring after doing the research. [phone removed]..ask for Justin Lane (parts mgr) and mention you heard about it on the board.
Well, the labor on this depends on what they charge per hour. My local dealer charged me $100 for 1 hr labor to put on the PSE cans. NO SWITCH and glad I saved the cash. As for the switch, the Porsche TSB states for FULL install of 7.5 hours. $900 sounds steep. My dealer wanted $800. Some dealers will do it for about $600-700. You can always go back and install the swithc. Your PSE will come with all the materials so you can decide later if that is the case.
Don't worry about installing the switch. I bought from B-wine and had the PSE installed by local Porsche guy for $195. This is a fairly straight forward DIY project if you have the time/tools. The sound from the PSE is fantastic!
I echo what the others have said about Brandywine. That's where I got my PSE. I like Rennlist, would like to use the sponsors as a thank you, and it's a bummer that the sponsors don't have good prices on PSE. If they can match Brandywine's price and service, I'd rather buy it from a Rennlist sponsor.
Ok, but only if it isn't too much trouble. I'm not sure if I'm going to install the PSE yet and don't want to put you out. I could always check out Renntech if that's easier.
Just saw an ad in the March Panorama from Braman Porsche in Palm Beach for "Sport Exhaust with Switch 996" for $1,439.99. I've never dealt with them but it's the lowest price I've seen.
Especially if it includes the switch. The PSE will come with all the wiring harness and parts needed but not the switch for some reason, that is additional. So 1440 is great for the whole thing!
I believe the switch is not included as there are a few different places to install it, ie to the left or right of the HAC controls. So there are at least two versions of the switch depending where you plan to install it. I think I paid about $30.00 for the switch. As stated earlier everything else is included. Good luck.........
