Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
In the back of my mind I'm always thinking Pcars are nice but 360 or 430 will be tops of my check list.
Leading evidence: 'Check list' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check list' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi Guys,
It's been fun here but I am selling my C4 tomorrow. The weirdest thing is that I bought on my 35th birthday, tomorrow I am 37 and exactly 2 years to the day I found a buyer after 3 months. Freaky eh?
I am thinking of taking a break from P land for a while, before I will be back in a year or 2 and my short list is:
Ferrari 360
Bentley Continental GT
Gallardo
M5
M6
Which one would you chose and why?
I would take the Gallardo over the 360. I think the Gallardo is the better overall car, AWD, German engineering with Italian styling. The F430 would might be another story. The Bentley might be interesting. I think that would be a bit stealthy when driving it around. The M cars are nice but i would pass them for any of the other cars listed.
Gallardo +1
I drove one last November and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just be very careful of driveways and other bumps as it is very low to the ground. The Ferrari 360 is nice but I would step up to the F430 if possible.
BTW..sorry to lose you as a Porsche owner, keep us posted on what you do later.
I am in the same boat 360 vs the Gallardo I am leaning towards the Lambo wife wants it next year when we payoff her G wagon... So +1 Lambo maintanance costs seem to be less as most is Audi R8 stuff vs hand made Italian parts...
new M5. Hotnesss but low profile. Plus you can actually scare the pants off more than one person at a time.
If you go f-car I'd say step up to the 430, although it is not quite as raw. The big question is whether this will be a driver or a garage queen. If you're gonna drive it, stay away from the F-car, the Lambo, and the Bentley. They take a big hit for any miles. Stupid but true.
The Bentley Continental GT and Gallardo are VWs so they will be reliable. My neighbor has a Bentley Continental and it drives like the Phaeton (which it essentially is), which is to say it drives very nicely. It is a very heavy car, but it does well.
Can't go wrong with VW.
So, sold it ! Felt really sad as I saw it go down the road with the new owner. Nice guy though. It was like a kid leaving home or something ( if I had any
I got her cleaned up really well for the sale and it was super bling in the daylight
So anyway. I have decided for a ferrari 360. One red one in Rome Italy that could be the one for me. I am really going to enjoy the 1000 kilometer journey back if I end up buying it.
Adios Porsche people! It's been fun and I appreciate all the advise I have recieved and laughed at how **** some people can be too
Have fun and I will be back with a 997 turbo when they get to the 100K euro mark!
Have driven or been a passenger in all those cars (Gallardo was a drop top). They are all very different......................................
but a Ferrari is a Ferrari...sigh.
Older guys often say to me "you have my dream car" the car I always wanted. In the back of my mind I'm always thinking Pcars are nice but 360 or 430 will be tops of my check list.
I like the lambo but is an gallardo to a murci...no the same as a boxster to a 911?? I would go for a Ferrari....but if I had a choice (and the money!!) I would go for a 911 GT2
The Gallardo's cool, but no history and a bit too much Audi for me. Lacks scissor doors and one shouldn't get a Lambo without them Lambo doors, right?
BGT - Big luxo barge, boring, but definitely luxo.
M6/M5 - I'd love to have one for a daily driver.
I'd get the 360 and make it look similar to my buddy's here:
Rich motorsport history. Sound. Looks. It's the upgrade from Porsche 911.
Boxster to the 911? I love that logic. I'm going to 'upgrade' from a roadster to a coupe? Is a 5,000 pound 500 HP Cayenne Turbo S the ultimate Pcar upgrade?
Not sure if the 430 to 599 analogy applies either because the 430 is not a GT and its mid engine config. is the Ferrari racer's choice, given the way thing are going this season in FIA GT2 its easy to see why.
Gallardo 5L V10 (100" wheelbase) > Murcielago 6.5L V12 (105" wheelbase)
Buying a Lambo without a V12 is like going on a date with Pamela Anderson after she had her implants removed.
I forgot that we are all schumachers on this board.....I was thinking more about the looks than the handling...because all the mentioned cars handle pretty good and have potential only a few of us will ever be able to fully appreciate!
and I don't think that a boxster is an upgrade from a 911 (CAB...forgot to mention this!!) I can't say on this forum what they called them when they came out in Europe...had something to do with women....and again it had nothing to do with performance...because I am sure perfectlap can outrace me in his boxster!!
I am all show (kind of the "bridge and tunnel" crowd partying in Manhattan) cruising along the PCH at 55mph....enjoying the oceanviews and the sound of the exhausts....and I wish I could get myself a ferrari (whatever number).
.....................
let the games begin.....it has been a little lame lately!!
So I put a depoit down on a 360 pending a report on Monday, if all is OK I should buy it. I went all over the show thinking of a Bentley and M5. It is a crazy time of year to buy a ferrari but I got a good deal and the depreciation should not be too bad. Cannot wait until Friday when I have to drive it back from Frankfurt to Prague
Gallardo is _expensive_ in clutch wear. But super sexy. If I had the money for maintenance, a Gallardo would be in the driveway.
The biggest question would be in what freakish color - the yellow one is absolutely gorgeous
Gallardo is "more german than italian". Lamborghini made by Audi and same engine than Phaeton , Continental GT...Not very purist
Go for a Porsche 997 GT3
I didn't realized you were from Praha.
I've been there and saw some Porsches. Lots of Cayenne and Bentley.
Czech Rep. is growing up! (I always with the camera looking at monuments ... and cars... and the best monuments = czech women are prettiest I've ever seen
Two pics: (Don you remember these place?
Greets from Spain
Joaquin, the first pic is in mala strana. Ironically that is where the ferrari club meets. Well a few guys with 360's and 430's and is infact not too far from where I live. I saw a statstic from last year that Czech had the most new amount of USD millionaires as % of the population 15000. The year before was Spain
There are really lots of nice cars here now and I felt a bit common in my C4. I also got bored after 2 years and needed a change. That is why I bought a ferrari
I am going to take a break from Porsche for a while and come back with a 997 turbo when they drop to about 100k euro
