Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've hijacked other threads with mixed opinions so I'll start one of my own. I am considering a CPO 2004 996TT arctic silver/black coupe - 18k miles very clean car with service records. The biggie options - Bose upgrade, navigation. Includes an additionl 3 years/100k warranty. Dealer wants $83k. Some think this is a good price, others say it's 10k too high and suggest cars.com or autotrader. I had gone there and my conclusion is that the low mileage cars are priced 5-7% higher there than this one. Am I missing something. I will be able to check the rev limiter report before I buy. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

First, CPO is a limited 2yrs (not 3) after the 4 yr expires. The 100K you will never see. At first, the 83K sounds pretty damn close to what it's worth, especially as a CPO. If it check out and you really like it, offer somewhere around 75-77K and if you could get it for 80K you would have done well.
