Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

On my MY00 C2 Cab I've 5-spoke wheels with following sizes: Front: 225/40/18 offset 50, 8 inch wheel Rear: 285/35/18 offset 65, 10 inch wheel (yes, it's 285/ 35 /18 - works very well!) I put 15mm spacers on the rear axle which widens the rear track by 30mm (1.18 inch). I don't have spacers in the front. In the Sept/Oct 2007 edition of "Modified Luxury & Exotics" they compare the 997 GT3, GT3 RS and RSR and one statement says: "The RS makes use of 5mm wheel shims (0.2 inches) to account for a rear track that is 1.34 inches wider than the GT3's." What's your thought about the relation between my front and rear track (not in terms of looks, just handling). Should I add spacers in the front to reduce the difference? If yes, 5mm or 15mm (latter to get back to the original relation)? I've H&R lowering springs and now new GT3 sway bars (front and rear).

POST 2Original post

Were the 02 5 spokes in 11" a factory option? I thought they maxed out at 10". 11" in that rim style is pretty hot.

Yeah, I thought the stock width of the rears was 10" also.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry, you're correct! Typo on my side, the rear wheels are 10 inch.
