Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I think it required some felt pads be installed between the sunroof frame and the car.

The headliner on mine keeps disconnecting from the sunroof itself.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello all, over most bumps Ive noticed a lot of rattling above my sunroof. When I push against it, it stops so its obvious something is loose or not connected. Anyone have recommendations on how to access and fix whatevers rattling?
I've got the same. If you push up into the roof lining, gently, just behind your head (towards the b-pillar more so than the middle) it goes away. I'm looking at pulling the headlining down and adding felt as per other responses. I just hate working on interior. Always think I'm breaking things when you pull trim off etc
The headliner on mine keeps disconnecting from the sunroof itself. Not sure how to make it stay put. Getting good at popping it back in though. Anybody know how to make it stay?
I just fixed my rattle today. It was only rattling when the sunroof was open. It was not the rod in that video above that was causing my rattle.
All I had to do was pull off the coat rack clips and loosen the B and C pillars and pull them away slightly, on both driver and passenger side, then remove the rear of the headliner and fold down to access the plastic piece that was rattling against the sunroof panel itself. The plastic "tray" I'll call it is attached to the rear edge of the sunroof panel. It goes laterally from side to side. When you push up on it, it contacts the sunroof and this was causing my noice over bumps.
Open the sunroof all the way at this stage and you see this, view from sitting in the back seat.
In this photo, the headliner is folded down and towards the front of the vehicle. The sunroof is all the way open. You can see that piece of felt that is on the bottom edge of the plastic tray that is attached to the rear of the sunroof panel. It is U-shaped and cradles the rear edge of sunroof, I think to drain water towards the edges, so it can then drain back to the corner drains and out.
Anyway, I think there may have been another piece of felt on the exact opposite side of the piece you see, on top, to prevent it from bouncing and rattling against the sunroof. I didnt have felt so I just taped a few small pieces of ducktape to the top side of that. Went for a test drive and no rattles! And it turned into a LONG test drive!
