Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

That price goes up depending on what units you choose and whether you change the sway bars.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

purely for asthetic reasons i would like to lower my cab.
I saw a gt3 recently all hunched over its wheels looking bad a$$
how do i get my car that low and what kind of $scratch$ are we talking?
can i do it by just changing the springs or do i have to change the suspension and all?
Jason,
You need to change the setup to something like the X74 kit that is available from carnewal.com. I don't know if the kit is ok for a cab but I went for the PSS9 setup. Allows you to lower the car to whatever height you want and it is also adjustable in the "comfort" factor. I lowered my cab 20mm all around and will go down another 5 to 10 mm at some stage. No extra squeaks on the cab either after the change.
The X74 is available for the Cab. I have an '02 C4 Cab and just ordered mine from Gert. He was out of stock, but more kits are scheduled for delivery this week.
Springs only are not a good idea. The aftermarket springs that lower your car not matched properly to the standard struts. The result is "choppy" unbalanced ride. Additionally, they can result in premature wear on your struts. The best solution is springs and struts that are matched for each other. There are lots of choices. Ranging from the X74 package offered by Porsche to coilover systems offered by many aftermarket manufacturers.
If you choose a coilover system that allows for an adjustable ride height you are going to want to have the car corner balanced along with the necessary alignment to insure you have the proper weight distribution on the suspension. Non adjustable ride height kits do not allow or require a corner balance.
Depending on how much wrench turning you are willing to do you can count on spending over $2k for parts alone (X74 from Carnewal). That price goes up depending on what units you choose and whether you change the sway bars.
I've had my cab as low as a GT3 with H&R coilovers. What a total PIA it is though. I now have the PSS9s which can be set as low as the H&Rs, but they aren't! You may think it looks cool for a while, but I bet you won't enjoy it that low for long.
