Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Mechanical issues -yes I would be concerned ie RMS-as long as crank is within spec engine need not be replaced with regard to RMS(this is saying rms keep leaking to no avail after several rms repairs).

Suggestion

Just take it for a test drive, you will be able to hear the squeaks - and if you do, just stuff felt in between the dash board and the front windshield, cause thats where most of the squeaks will come from

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am looking at 23k miles 99 996, as i was at the dealer all the service receipts were in the booklet so i went through the receipts there was 15 pages of warranty stuff, dash piece loose, rattle in rear seats, oil leak, coolant leak etc.... Nice car but all this work in 23k miles? Is this a lemon?

POST 2Original post

I would ignore the misc interior items and focus on the mechanical items that were fixed under warranty.

POST 3Original post

RMS leaks were "normal" with 99's as was the collant leak, which are or were the result of a poor main seal, and faulty coolant bottle, respectively. They all were replaced under warranty, and there will be no other problems with them. The dash parts arent a problem. I wouldnt worry about them Just take it for a test drive, you will be able to hear the squeaks - and if you do, just stuff felt in between the dash board and the front windshield, cause thats where most of the squeaks will come from

POST 4Original post

Mechanical issues -yes I would be concerned ie RMS-as long as crank is within spec engine need not be replaced with regard to RMS(this is saying rms keep leaking to no avail after several rms repairs). Had mine at about 9k after that no issues so far(car has 40k miles and I track 11-12 times a year). Had cam leak as well as coolant expansion tank leak too which was replaced-so far so good. Those listed on your post can be fixed up so I wouldn't be concerned with that. Regards. Mike
