Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey all...
A number of you have contacted me to post up photos of my new (to me) weekend toy.
Here she is in all her glory. 968 powered and at the moment close to 2500#.
At the moment I am pulling all the AC out and putting the finishing touches on the car. She drives great and is REALLY flat through corners. I have yet to put her on the track. But that time is coming soon.
Work I did:
- Stripped & Painted the interior
- Installed seats and interior bits
- Electrician
- Installed front CF fenders
- Installed brakes
- Installed suspension
- Misc body work
- Fabricated door panels & center console
- Pulled AC system out
- Parts manager
Work J3 did:
- Installed 968 engine, torque tube, clutch, and drivetrain components
- Installed turbo 5th gear
- Custom exhaust
- Fabricated roll bar
right on!!
that sounds GREAT and the tranny sounds like a cup car!! LOVE IT!!
camera overexposes the outside due to the black in the dash filtering the light and making the auto exposure think it need to open up... (I think)
Great vid still... love the steering wheel too
Says the guy with 'bolt-in' tequipment bar.
Mine is the back half of a custom welded in (Nasa spec) cage. While for now the car is being driven to and from the track, I will give it a 4 pt roll bar. Once I get my tow vehicle next year, cage time baby.

I think he was asking an unloaded question. Afterall, for the car to be a "track car," it would have to have seen the track
first
.
It "looks" nice... but if you go to the 944 Spec races, it's not about "looking nice"
Ok... thought this was a dedicated track car..... fair enough I guess... My car doubles as a DE toy and street car.... If I were to dedicate it to the track it would have a full cage......
Exactly... my intent was not to flame.... only that if the icar was built to go W2W in NASA or 944 spec, a full cage a door bars would be preferred...
It was an honest question...
BTW Chad... Nice work..... car looks like it should be fun to drive...
Thanks dudes. It has been a fun project. I hope to get her on the track very soon. Although, it is a bit hot this time of the year for any real fun on track.
Roll cage info- this car was originally intended to be a full NASA spec race car. But, my wife got preggers (yes I had something to do with that
)...so the racing budget got ax'ed. I immediately sold the S2 motor, bought the 968 one and made street legal to play on the weekend. When I lighten it more and tow it to the track, yep...a full cage it will recieve. In the meantime, it has a properly welded rear portion ready to recieve the rest of it when I am ready.
