Still need to run the cable for the backup camera and the parking brake wire for the new stereo (not sure yet where this goes).
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Considering a Fister exhaust and some retrofit lab headlight upgrades. Happy to be here learning more about this amazing car.
Congratulations on your beautiful cabriolet. And good on you for addressing a lot of preventative maintenance items in such a short amount of time!
Since your car is a daily driver, I would like to recommend you this product. Itll likely save you a giant headache in the future.

I didnt know paddle shifters were an option. Thanks! I do feel like the tiptronic shifts through gears too fast and likes to keep the rpms very low. Its on my list to research if it can be programmed for more sporty auto shifting.
Nice mods.
Definitely like Fisters.
A friend has a 996.1 Cabriolet with Fisters and they sound great.
They sound better than my Fabspeed mufflers IMHO.
I think these guys are the sole manufacturer of this product and Im not sure if they have a UK distributor. You may want to contact them to see if theyll ship it to you.
I contacted them because it said out of stock. This was the reply:
Thank you for your interest in our waterproof cases.
Unfortunately, we are currently out of stock.
We are in the process of developing a new and improved design, but as it is still in the research and development phase, we don't have a specific timeline for when they will be available again.
Got the new stereo in yesterday. Found the phone connector behind the factory stereo and used it's switched power for USB chargers. Still need to run the cable for the backup camera and the parking brake wire for the new stereo (not sure yet where this goes).
I contacted ecudoctors.com about the product

@CharacterZero
, congrats on the 996 and most importantly, congrats on the refresh list.
Great to see an enthusiast that is willing to spend the money to refresh their 996 the right way. It's truly an exceptional car.
