They lost, and my wife got a check for close to $20k a year later!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I ended up in one of these a while ago. A local realtor was accused of "forcing" buyers into their private escrow service or something. Fogot the exact details. When I received the formal paperwork (about 10 pages of really small type) it turned out the law firm made about 8 million. My cut was a $350 credit

I purchased a house within the year from the same realtor.
Gavels don't solve any mechanical issue... I get calls all the time from people wanting to take Porsche to Court because their engine failed... All it does is tell me the kind of persdonality they have and thats generally a red flag..
Been a member of several class action suits for years, never received a cent! Most were regarding buying and owning equities. The latest would offer me $.01633 or less than 2 cents for every share of an IPO I purchased in '99. I purchased 300 shares at $106.00 each or over $30K worth and would net less than $5.00 if the suit was won. Round file material, not worth reading past the second paragraph.
A woman that used to work with my wife at Smith Barney called her about 9 years ago. Asked her if she was aware of the discrimination class-action suit against SB. My wife said "no, what's the story?". Seems SB paid women less than men for the same jobs. They lost, and my wife got a check for close to $20k a year later!
So, some class action suits pay nicely!
i got that letter a few days ago too. seems there were a lot of subframes that cracked. i read about cracked subframes a few years ago on ghe E46 forums. it is pretty common, even on cars that were not modified.
there are articles in panorama about the factory re sleeving motors that failed the inital inspection because of demand and a broken machine at the factory, and plenty of talk about 996 motors blowing themselves up. yet when someone wants to hold the factory liable they are flamed here as crybabies.
